Carhartt Data Breach Exposes Information of 12.9 Million Accounts

The ShinyHunters extortion group has published data stolen from nearly 13 million Carhartt accounts, according to breach notification service Have I Been Pwned. The breach reportedly occurred earlier this month.

No technical detail on the intrusion vector was available at time of writing. Carhartt customers should treat any associated credentials as compromised and watch for phishing attempts referencing the breach.
